Ares' microarray research elucidates splicing process in yeast mRNA

Manny Ares, professor of molecular, cell, and developmental biology, is the main author of a paper this week in the journal Science. Graduate students Tyson Clark and Charles Sugnet are co-authors on the paper, called "Genomewide analysis of mRNA processing in yeast using splicing-specific microarrays."
