UCSC Genome Browser now explores targeted genomic regions in multiple species
Wednesday, August 6, 2003
The UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group has released a browser and a BLAT server that aids in exploring targeted genomic regions in multiple species. The browser allows researchers to explore the first of more than 100 targeted regions being sequenced in multiple species and analyzed by the NIH Intramural Sequencing Center (NISC) comparative sequencing program sponsored by NHGRI. This release coincides with the publication of the results of the study in the 14 Aug 2003 issue of Nature. MORE... the article in Nature
